The task:
Increase client ROI and time in store by refurbishing and extending the lifespan of retail fixtures.
Sustainable Approach:
Through uplifting fixtures in store and triaging at PLB. We can increase the time in store, reduce the need for new fixtures, and thereby decrease Vapouriz’s carbon footprint, while also enhancing their ROI on purchases from PLB, making the unit more profitable. When units are refurbished, we have four grades based on the type of damage or work needed. For units with a fixing cost exceeding their residual value, we will utilise existing parts rather than purchasing new ones, whenever possible, and then recycle any remaining unusable parts.
Impact Highlights:
In 2025, we have produced over 70 units, thereby reducing the environmental impact of increased production and minimising waste from uplifted units. More units spend more time in the store, generating more revenue for Vapouriz. 70 fewer units have needed to be recycled, and fewer parts have been purchased and transported due to the use of existing parts.
