The task:
Our latest Samsung KX hero display needed to not only look awesome, but also incorporate 3 different interactive experiences for customers to enjoy.
Our latest Samsung KX hero display needed to not only look awesome, but also incorporate 3 different interactive experiences for customers to enjoy.
We wanted to ensure a really strong attract to get the optimum footfall to the space and then have something for everyone to get involved in. There were many stakeholders and moving targets, but we ensured everything we designed was based on insight and previous learnings.
The entire display has an attract mode which features bright coloured lights, which then change and highlight specific areas that are being interacted with.
The selfie zone shows off all the awesome features and benefits of the brand new Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4 and Galaxy Watch5. When the experience is interacted with, the surrounding lighting dims to avoid any impact on the selfie. Customers can then choose between several backgrounds for their selfie, set up the mobile device for the photo and then trigger the selfie capture using the watch. Using a QR code, they can then send the selfie to their own device.
Our gaming zone lets customers immerse themselves in the latest games using the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold4 and Galaxy Bud2 Pro’s.
Finally, our bike experience invites customers to cycle through iconic London scenes with the wind in their hair – the faster they pedal, the more wind gets blown! Customers can adjust the height of the bike to suit them and the lighting on the floor changes to mimic racing down London streets. Using the Galaxy Z Fold4 and Galaxy Watch5 Pro, customers can track their journey, including their heart rate and other health related statistics.
Reinventing the ‘Hero’ space once again with a completely new look and feel, but keeping aligned with the KX environment and fundamental principles. All experiences include data capture technology to allow monitoring of interactions and continual learning and improvement.
