The task:
As part of their Global Business Plan, Sim Local approached PLB to develop and expand their presence within the Travel arena, with their new Pop Up store within T5B at London’s Heathrow Airport.
As part of their Global Business Plan, Sim Local approached PLB to develop and expand their presence within the Travel arena, with their new Pop Up store within T5B at London’s Heathrow Airport.
PLB were asked to design and create an eye catching and disruptive new store, with fixtures that could be rolled out in to varying retail arenas, utilising the new brand identity for Sim Local. Once finalised the design was brought to life at render stage, and signed off for production. The focus, from then on, was for Sim Local and PLB to work with Heathrow to deliver a compliant store display.
Despite the delays and impact of the Coronavirus pandemic, Sim Local maintained and progressed their marketing campaign to increase the awareness of their brand and ensured that their new store proposition would make it to the terminal. PLB were able to work efficiently with their suppliers to ensure that changes to policies within Heathrow’s guidelines, could be overcome, adapted and delivered without additional cost to Sim Local.
